Pie Contest held at Lyons Market

The first Lyons Farm Market Pie Contest is history.

'It was a hard decision,' said Steve Leo, one of the Judges. The winning pie was called 'Bliek's Berry Bomb' baked by Angela Bliek and Kathy McCann. They won $50 and a plaque with a picture of their winning pie.

The second place winners were Edna Gansz and Martha Facer in the grandparent and grandchild category. They received Farm Market T-shirts. Special recognition goes out to Kris Vanderlinde and Daniel Murphy for third and forth places.

The pie judges were Steve Leo, Mr. Shippers, Amanda Herman, Morriah Signor, and Ed Tellier.
