Area blood drives

Members of the Red Creek United Methodist Church are sponsoring a blood drive at the church on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 9 to 2.

The Ontario Women's Club will he sponsoring a blood drive at Ontario Firemen's Field, Route 104, on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Also at St. John's Episcopal Church, W. Main St., Sodus, Sat., Oct. 18, 9 to 2.

People may donate if they are 17 to 65 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.

The need for blood is ongoing. Call the Red Cross office 331.3783 to schedule an appointment.
