(Thomas Paine) Tracy Smith, son of Barcy and Sissy Smith, continues his recovery from elbow surgery. Births announced. Roger and Linda Hoffman became the proud grandparents of twins. Granddaughter, Casey at 6 lbs. 2 oz., and grandson Cooper at 5 lbs. 2 oz. were born to their son, Scott (Lisa) in New Jersey. The twins were welcomed home by brother, Hunter. School Closed Monday, October 13 for Columbus day. October 7, 1916: The trustees of the Marion Library are asking the tax payers to vote the sum of $170 for the support of the library. The expense exceeds the amount of voluntary subscription. I met a woman last week who said she had to leave her dust cloth around so that she could tell where she left off! The United Church will be holding one of their famous Chicken & Biscuit Dinners on Monday, October 20. Janette Nevlezer is recuperating from a fall where she sustained a broken elbow.
