Harvest antiques show this week

The Wayne County Antique Dealers Association will hold its 25th Annual Silver Anniversary Antique Show and Sale on October 25 and 26 at the Williamson High School, Route 21, south of Route 104.

The sale will be open from 10 to 5 Saturday, and 10 to 4 Sunday. Fifty quality dealers will be exhibiting.

Expert restoration of glass, china, pottery, porcelain and gold leaf frames will be provided throughout the show by the Dropped Shop. On Sunday only, John DeVolder will be available from noon until 4 for verbal appraisals for the fee of $3 per item. Customers are asked to limit their items for appraisal to two per person.

Among the wide variety of antiques and collectibles to be offered are: furnituare, primitives, clocks, lamps, glass, bottles, china, porcelains, pottery, country and Victorian accessories, toys, dolls, wooden, tin and granitewares, kitchenware, jewelry, textiles, vintage clothing, quilts, advertising items, paper ephemera and much more.

Refreshments will be provided by the Williamson High School Class of 2005, with proceeds to support class activities.
