Dinner & road tolls in Newark

A cabbage roll dinner will be held Nov. 1 from 4 to 7 at the Newark VFW. Sponsored by the AVSO, the meal costs $5.50 per person. Members and guests welcome. First come, first served until sold out.

AVSO Road Toll - November 8 as Voluntary Road Toll Day in Newark. There will be AVSO (American Veterans Service Organization) members and VFW Post #2883 members on Newark's main roads collecting 'tolls'.
