Election day dinner; quilts for sale

A chicken and biscuit dinner is planned for November 4 at the Newark First United Methodist Church. This is advance sales only. Call 331.3895.

Deliveries at 5 and take-outs at 5:30. Continuous seating starting at 6. Prices are $7 and $6. Children 12 and under $4; age three and under eat free.

The Methodist Quilters after 25 years are disbanding. They will have large quilts, baby quilts and Christmas tree skirts for sale at the dinner.
