Nov. 1 turkey dinner in Lyons

Lyons United Methodist Church will hold its annual Turkey Dinner on Saturday, November 1. There will be two servings, one at 5 and another at 6:15.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available at the door.

Take-outs are available at 5:30 p.m. with advanced sale tickets only. Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased from the church office at 946.6035 or by calling Pat Gifford at 331.0197. The church office, located on the second floor, is open Monday through Friday, 9 to noon. Access to the church can be gained through the side door in the parking lot.

Proceeds from the Turkey Dinner will benefit the LUMC Campership Fund to provide scholarships next summer for children and teens to attend church camp. The Campership Program is a part of the Christian Education Department.
