Potato Fest photo contest

Do you like to take pictures of old rustic buildings, animals or Old Glory? The Potato Festival Photography Contest is September 26.

Photographs are accepted in three categories, black and white, color and digital/computer enhanced. The categories are Patriotism, Old Rustic Buildings, and Animals. There is no cost to enter. Pictures need to be at least 3x5 inches or larger, and in a frame so they can be properly displayed.

Entries are being accepted at the Potato Art Tent from 4 to 6 Friday evening, and the results will be announced Saturday, during the Potato Festival Parade. Cash Awards of $25, $15 and $5 will be given for each category. You might have a picture already in your hands that could be a winner. Or you still have time to take one.
