Kids back to school

Area kids are back at school this week after summer recess.

Pictured here is four-year-old Evan Allen of Newark. After his first Universal Pre-Kindergarten class with teacher Kari Hamelinck at Perkins Elementary yesterday afternoon, Evan gives his mom, Michele Allen, a big hug.

Remember to slow down when driving in school areas, and do not pass a stopped school bus.
