Lyons church plans service on Sept. 11

There will be a 'Service of Remembrance' on September 11 at 7 p.m. at The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons.

The service is being led by the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel, church pastor and chaplain of Lyons Fire Department.

Her meditation is titled 'Remember.' Members of the Lyons Fire Department will assist with the readings. Lyons Firefighter Chris Santelli will share special music. After the service, there will be a special reception in the Social Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The First Presbyterian Church is located at 11 Queen St. at the corner of Broad St. and is handicapped accessible. For more information, call 946.4723.
