Newark Homecoming postponed

Expecting Hurricane Isabel to bring heavy rain and high winds to the area tomorrow, the Newark High Athletic Department has postponed tomorrow's Homecoming events.

The Parade is now scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. (starting from the Alex Eligh Community Center), and the game will start at 7.

The Homecoming Dance has been cancelled; and the chicken barbecue will be held from 3:30 to 7.

NOTE: Because the Homecoming game against Wayne Central has been postponed, last Friday's game against Geneva will air tomorrow night at 7 p.m. on Cable TV Channels 12 and 15.
