Auction today at Lyons church

Come one! Come all to an autumn auction at the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons, today at 5 p.m. In addition to collectibles and treasures, church members will auction off their services, such as leaf-raking and snow-shoveling to the highest bidder.

In addition to the auction, there will be a bake sale! If the weather is nice, the event will be held on the church lawn. In case of rain, the auction will be held in the Social Hall.

The event is being billed as the 'First Annual Stone Soup Auction.' It is based on the fable of everyone bringing an ingredient to make a pot of soup. Church members will be bringing their treasures and collectibles to raise money for the 'Building and Furnance Fund.'

The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons is located at 11 Queen Street (at the corner of Broad) and is handicapped accessible. For additional information, please call 315.946.4723.
