Reunion for Marion 1948 grads

On September 12, several 1948 graduates of Marion Central School gathered at the Garlock House in Palmyra, for a luncheon to celebrate the 55th anniversary of their graduation.

There was a display of yearbook pictures arranged for viewing while schoolmates entered the dining room and were greeting friends. Announcements were made, and letters from classmates unable to attend were read by Bob Sheahen and Roger Tellier. Also at the reunion were Lee Weeks, Gordon Adriaansen, Lewis Stryker, Violet Everhart Overslaw, Gloria Congdon Verbridge, Helen Yates Dingman, Delores Bushart Fisher, Loretta Bushart VanStrien, and Beatrice Abrams Hermenet. The committee volunteered to arrange the next gathering in 2008.
