Self-defense class in Williamson for women

October 15 at 6:30 p.m., the Williamson Public Library will host a special class for women ages 13 to 90. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers learn how to protect themselves.

5th-degree Black Belt Master Gary Evarts will instruct a free Women's Safety Awareness class. Learn basic self-defense moves and listen to explanations of why being prepared is the best self defense anyone can have.

Evarts has 28 years experience in Kuk Sool Won martial arts and owns and operates schools in Williamson and Webster. Registration is not required.
