Book group meets in Newark

Beyond the Covers, the monthly book-of-the-month group, sponsored by the Newark Public Library, will discuss two books this coming meeting on Monday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the library board room.

As a follow-up to the reading of The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown, the group wanted to read another selection by the same author, so chose his Angels and Demons for April. This book again features Robert Langdon as the 'hero' of the piece - caught up in more intrigue and suspense.

Riding the Bus with My Sister, by Rachel Simon, is a non-fiction memoir about a developmentally disabled woman and her sister. On their daily trips on city buses, they learn about each other and human nature.

Even if you have not read the books, come to the library Monday evening ready to enjoy some thought-provoking discussion. New members always welcome.
