Empire Zone benefits discussed April 13

Sodus Supervisor Donna Chittenden has announced that Wayne County Empire Zone will hold a meeting Tuesday, April 13, to discuss Empire Zone benefits.

Chittenden is the Wayne County Empire Zone Administrative Board Chair.

A representative from NYS Department of Tax and Finance will make a presentation and be available for questions.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. in Lyons at the County Courthouse, 26 Church Street. To reserve a seat please call or e-mail at 946.5917 or e-mail wedcny@co.wayne.ny.us.

Businesses located with in the boundary of the Empire Zone and that are planning on adding jobs or making an investment during the next 12 to 18 months should consider attending the meeting. Call Lydia Birr at 946.5975 with questions.
