Dutch dinner in Newark

The Woodlane Community Church, 5694 Woodlane in Newark, formerly Arcadia Reformed, will hold a Dutch dinner Saturday, April 17 from 5:30 to 7:30.

The menu will include:

Apetizer: Komeine Kaas & Zachte Kaas (medium sharp and caraway cheese)

Entree: Groente Soep (vegetable soup)

Dinner: Sla Over De Schotel (Dutch lettuce), Groenne Bonen Met Uien (green beans with onions), Gehak Ballen in Sju (meatballs in cranberry sauce), Appel Moes (apple sauce), Worsten Broodjes (pigs in the blanket)

Dessert: Olie Bollen (raisin donuts), Suiker Speken (hard candy), Nieuvjaar Wafeltses (New Year cookies), Boter Koek (butter cake), Pudding Met Praimen (pudding with prunes), Speculaas (windmill cookies)

Tickets are $7.50 and $5 and free for children 4 and under. Call 331.4903 for tickets and reservations.
