Vandals haunt Newark's gazebo

The Village of Newark's Canal Trail has been the target of vandals since its completion.

The Trail sign is covered in plastic 'spray' string, and the gazebo near the Edgett Street bridge, has many broken spindles.

Spindles seem to be a favorite with area vandals - the white fencing surrounding St. Michael School's new playground equipment is often without many.
