Wayne County Fair Pageant April 23

Thirty-six girls will compete April 23 for the titles of Fair Queen and Fair Princess. The pageant starts at 7 p.m. at Marion High School, and the public is invited, with no admission fee.

Intermission will highlight Fair queens and princesses from the past 25 years. Carol Ritter-Wright of the Democrat and Chronicle will be the Emcee. The contestants will be judged on evening gown, informal interview and speech at the pageant. The winners will reign over the Wayne County Fair in Palmyra, August 9-14.
