With spring break on the way it would be nice if spring would be more cooperative.

Ruth and Jim Malone have moved into their new house. Soon, their phone will be hooked up and their eldest daughter can begin calling them again.

Happy April Birthdays to:

Michelle Abbey April 12th, Amber Malone 14th, Lindsey Hamilton 14th, Rachel White 22nd, which is also Earth Day and Jelly Bean day, Carol Garland 19th, and Becky Clark 21st.

News from Ralph Everdyke:

A picture of the lady on our league (Mary Burchard) receiving her trophy at the banquet we had at the Island Way Grill on Clearwater Beach. She didn't expect to receive anything, so she was surprised. It turned out to be a very nice affair. It kind of reminded me of the Crystal Barn restaurant in Rochester. We had about 75 people there and the food was very good and the service was excellent . There were many awards given out and also a lot of door prizes were given out. I think the affair was enjoyed very much by everyone. The only thing I could complain about was that it cost me $4 for a Manhattan. Oh well, can't have everything. It was a fun filled evening.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the column. Oscar, of course, was not a big help at all, chewing on my hair the whole time. He is getting big... well, big for him. I picked him up a pet carrier bag so he can ride with me to pick up the kids at school. He definitely attracts attention.

Have a great week and enjoy your Easter. Pray for the people in the service who can not be home.
