Program at Williamson church

East Williamson Free Methodist Church will join 3000 churches around the country participating in a national simulcast presentation hosted by Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life.

The live, video broadcast initiates the church's '40 Days of Purpose' campaign, designed to help participants identify Gods five purposes for their lives and answer the question, 'What on earth am I here for?'

The simulcast, which will be held at East Williamson Free Methodist Church, is free of charge and open to the public. Each attendee will receive a personal copy of The Purpose Driven Life. Two identical simulcast sessions are available. The first will be held from 9:45 - 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 24. The second will be held from 3:45 - 5:45 Sunday, April 25. Registration for both sessions will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the simulcast, and refreshments will follow each.

The church is located at 4986 Ridge Road, at the four corners in East Williamson. Childcare will be available.

In the weeks following the simulcast, the church will continue its study of the 40 Days of Purpose. Small home groups will meet throughout the area to watch additional videos and discuss the study with each other. Sunday morning messages, daily inspirational readings, and scripture memory verses will expand on the topics of the simulcast. Adults, teens, and youth will all study the same topics at their different levels of understanding.

For more information about the 40 Days of Purpose simulcast and related events, contact the office of East Williamson Free Methodist Church at 589.2871 or by e-mail at forty-days@rochester.rr.com. The churchs Sunday morning worship service is held at 11.
