Red Cross offers disaster education Wayne County Chapter American Red Cross, is conducting disaster education, focusing on individuals and how every person can help prepare for disaster. The idea is to make homes, neighborhoods and communities Safer. 'Together We Prepare' contains five actions to prepare for a disaster. Make a Plan, build a kit, get trained, volunteer and give blood. These can help you protect loved ones and yourselves. Safe communities is a priority, and planning for disaster is an essential step toward preparedness. Families, businesses and schools - everyone needs to know what to do and where to go in the event of a disaster.
