Crafters wanted for St. Mark's Garden Faire

St. Mark's Church in Newark will be a field of flowers on Saturday, May 15 from 9:30 to 2, as the annual Garden Faire is presented, rain or shine.

The Tea Room is back. Wear Victorian clothing, if you want, and relax in company of friends in an elegant tearoom setting. Featured will be fine teas, and a selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. Servers will start pouring tea at 10:30 and continue until just after 1 p.m.

St. Mark's Courtyard will have a festive atmosphere with perennials, annuals and herbs offered for sale. Several crafters will set up, offering their hand made wares. For information on becoming part of the craft show, call the church office, 331.3610.

Again this year, an advance sale of geraniums will take place, with part of the proceeds going to benefit the Roosevelt Children's Center on Peirson Avenue.
