Sodus Go-Getters are hitting the road

The Sodus Go-Getters senior citizens will meet April 22 at noon at the Sodus United Third Methodist Church. Bring dish to pass and table service. Anyone over 55 may attend.

The Program will be a talk on 'Bootlegging and Rum-running Prohibition in Wayne County' by Sharon Lubitow from the County Historical Society.

Travel news: There are still seats available for the May 14 trip to Turning Stone Casino to see Bobby Vinton.

The Cortland Repertory Theater trip on June 16 for a performance of a Grand Night for Singing still has seats available. Waiting list only for Merry-Go-Round Playhouse performance of Showboat on July 27.

Mid-August trip is planned, to Lake George with dinner and entertainment at Surfside Inn.

Mid-September - a wagon ride through the gorge at the Grand Canyon of the East in Pennsylvania, with lunch at the end of the trail.

Mid-October - visit to the famous 5 & 10 cent store Vidlers at East Aurora, with stops at the bicycle museum and toy town museum. Lunch at Roycroft Inn.

December 8 - a luncheon, comedy revue with Glenn Anthony at Liverpool. Call Dawn Wilcox at 587.9608 for information and to sign up.
