Did everyone enjoy their spring break? I know my kids were excited to go back to school on Monday...(not). It is so nice to see all the flowers coming out - a new surprise every day.

News from Ralph Everdyke:

Yesterday (Sunday) our friends Harold and Jennie Boerman, who live in the complex with us, said they would like to go to the Russell Stover Candy Outlet in Wildwood. We decided to go with them and rather than taking the super highway, we decided to go through the less traveled roads in getting there. It was a beautiful day, sunny and about 80 degrees. It was fun to drive on the lesser traveled roads and see what Florida looked more like in the older days instead of seeing all the new construction that we are seeing in a good part of Florida. We arrived at the Outlet Store and probably spent about an hour there. Of course, we the bought the non-fattening types of goodies. The place, as usual, was quite busy. On the way back, we stopped at the Old World Restaurant in Floral City and had dinner. Altogether, it was a very nice and enjoyable day, relaxing and enjoying each others' company

Sounds like he had fun. It would be nice if you could find candy that tastes wonderful and was healthy for you - no fat, no sugar - candy without guilt. (If you find some, let me know.)
