Children's concert moved to May 16 in Newark

The Newark Community Children's Chorus has rescheduled its concert to Sunday, May 16 at 4 p.m.

Children from the Newark area, under the direction of Laurie Williams, will present a pops concert at Newark High School.

It is a music celebration of treasured favorites, some old and some not so old. Ja-Da and 42nd Street are joyful when sung by children. Also included will be selections from The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz. Tunes from cherished Disney movies will round out the program. The event is free admission.
