Dinner planned for Meal Service volunteers

Home Meal Service will honor volunteers and elect board members at their volunteer Recognition Dinner on May 18. The dinner will be hosted by the Newark Elks Lodge #1249 on South Main Street.

A sit-down dinner at 7 follows cocktails at 6.

The program will include the election of new Home Meal Service board members for the next term office. The Meals-on-Wheels and Sodus Nutrition Site volunteers will be recognized for her years of service. Over 250 volunteers have delivered meals in Wayne County and carved at the Sodus Nutrition Site during the past year.

Forty-one volunteers will receive special recognition for 5, 10, 15 and 25 years of service. Rick Bond, Wayne County Fire Coordinator will be the guest speaker.
