Newark students display art

Approximately 100 Newark students recently participated in the annual Student Art Show at Eastview Mall.

The Middle School, High School, Lincoln, Perkins, and Kelley schools all participated, and the display was set up by Newark Art teachers, Courtney Dentel, Renee Bailey, Linda Brongo, Dawn Schwind, Lisa Stringer, and David DeMarte. The Newark portion of Eastview's exhibit included a variety of media and concepts: printmaking, collage, painting, clay, drawing, etc. Many students, families, and staff members enjoyed the creative talents of all students' works displayed at Eastview Mall, and Newark students received numerous compliments.
