At Marion Library

At Marion Public Library on August 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., folks will be celebrating the end of Summer Reading and the opening of the new entryway. There will be an ice cream social, book sale, prize drawings and entertainment in the gazebo.

The work on this project could not have been accomplished without the contributions and support of the community. One of the amenities of this lovely addition to our library are the display cases which have been presented by the Marion High School class of 1965 in memory of departed classmates. The family and friends of Joe Bushart have contributed beautiful end tables, and the library club chairs are given in memory of Paul King.

The entryway to our library is dedicated to the memory of friend and supporter, Dr. Don Bovet.
