Computer Classes at the Lyons Library The Lyons Public Library will offer An Introduction to Microsoft Word class on Wed., Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m. This class is intended for beginners or for those who need a quick refresher on how to use the program. Participants will learn how to set margins, copy and paste, change the size and style of the font, print, etc. The library will present a two-part series on Designing Web Pages on Sat., Aug. 21 and Sat., Aug. 28 at 9:30 a.m. These two classes are intended for people who are comfortable using computers for such things as word processing, desktop publishing or searching the Internet but have little or no experience at designing web pages. Jeff Snow, the library's technology coordinator, will teach all three classes. Registration is required for each class and limited to 8. All the classes are free. For people signing up for the web page design classes, it is highly recommended that they attend both classes.
