BBQ to benefit The House of John The House of John and Clifton Springs Hospital Palliative Care Program are hosting a benefit Chicken BBQ tomorrow (Thursday, August 12) in conjunction with Concerts in the Park. This will be held in the Rotary Park, Main Street, Clifton Springs. The BBQ will begin at 4 p.m. and will run until sold out. The concert will begin at 7, featuring 'For Dancers Only' playing big band music. Palliative Care is comfort care for the terminally ill. It is physical, social, emotional and spiritual in nature. Palliative care focuses on symptom control, comfort and dignity until the last moment of life. The House of John and Clifton Springs Hospital are working closely together to offer this service to the terminally ill and their families. The cost of the BBQ is $7 for a half of chicken dinner. All proceeds benefit the House of John and CSH&C Palliative Care Program.
