Citizens Against Adult Entertainment to meet

The first meeting of the Concerned Citizens Against Adult Entertainment was held Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Newark.

While more than 60 people were in attendance, several of them being clergy, all agreed to unite together to further investigate options to deter this and other businesses like it from coming to this community.

You are invited to attend the meeting, to be held on Monday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Municipal building.

Meanwhile, Town of Arcadia officials have agreed to meet with an attorney from Mississippi who says he can provide a solution to the opposition.

The town will pay his expenses for a September 14 & 15 visit. Meeting times will be announced.
