Free books for active duty military

Laughing Cat Books is pleased to announce that they are offering complimentary copies of the book, East of Newark, West of Lyons, or West of Lyons, East of Newark to local servicemen and women on active duty with the United States military.

If you know of a Newark or Lyons area resident serving in the military, and who would appreciate a copy, please send their military mailing address to Laughing Cat Books by e-mail or United States Mail and they will do the rest, including mailing overseas if necessary. All names and addresses will the treated as confidential.

Laughing Cat Books is operated by David Benjamin, a Newark native and Vietnam era veteran who knows what it is like to be away from home while serving in the military. With this offer, he hopes to help local servicemen and women feel a bit closer to their homes in Newark or Lyons.
