Refractron, which was established in 1984, can trace its technology ancestry back to Carborundum for porous media, Parker Hannifin for filter drier cores, Xylon Ceramic Materials Inc. for high purity magnesia and zirconia, and Advanced Ceramics for high-precision ceramic materials machining.

Refractron is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of products using advanced porous and structural ceramic materials.

Over the past two decades, Refractron has grown through product expansion and acquisitions. Its facility is now more than 80,000 square feet, and 65 employees work three production shifts. Products are supplied to original equipment manufacturers for mineral, chemical, electronics, petrochemical, water treatment and refrigeration industries worldwide.
