County Motorcycle Hillclimb Results

The Wayne County Motorcycle Club has issued the results of its Hillclimb held Sunday.

A total of seven classes were run with 56 competitors. Classes were provided for youth, with the youngest competitor being seven years old.

There were also classes for teens 86-125cc bikes, seniors (rider over 40), vintage bikes (over 20 year old machine), and engine size classes 201-250cc, 250-500cc, and unlimited.

Results: Youth:

1st: Jordan Mistrella, Dansville, sponsored by East Coast Cabinets, 10.30
2nd: Josh Fuller, Shortsville, 11.34
3rd: Jeremy Stockschlaeder, Ontario, sponsored by Mom and Dad, 12.92
4th: Wesley Hayes, North Rose, sponsored by Family Team Racing, 13.79
5th: Justin Schutt, Wayland, 14.07
6th: Austin Fuller, Shortsville, - 7 year old! 16.51
7th: Devin LaBoda, Lyons, 17.34

All the kids were able to make a full climb of the Hill.

The finish time show that a thank you is in order to the Club's timing equipment operator, Jim Stockschlaeder because several places were decided on 10th and 100th's of a second!

Also of mention was the crowd pleasing climbs made by Rodney Turner of Redcreek aboard his modified Harley Sporster Hill Climber. Rodney was in the hunt with a time of 8.05 but did not place in the top three of the OPEN class. Rodney's sponsor is T+T Racing. Rodney also took honors as 'King of the Hill' posting the best time of the day of 7.49 while competing aboard his CR 500 Honda in the 250-500 class.
