Music in Lyons this Sunday

There will be an Ecumenical Christmas Sing at First Lutheran Church of Lyons, this Sunday, December 12 at 3 p.m. The 'sing' is being sponsored by the Inter-Church Council of Lyons. In addition to selections from church groups in Lyons, the ecumenical choir will perform. The choir is directed by Mrs. Camille Clark and is accompanied by Mr. Fred Dunn.

Those who are performing with the choir are reminded that there will be a practice at 2 that afternoon. Additionally, there will be opportunities for the audience to sing Christmas Carols. The hosting pastor is Rev. Arthur Sziemeister.

Following the sing, there will be a time of fellowship in the parish hall. The offering will go to the work of the Inter-Church Council of Lyons.

The First Lutheran Church of Lyons is located on Broad Street.
