Crocheting class for kids
Experienced instructor, Andrea Bortle, will lead the workshops from 7:30 to 8:30 Tuesday nights beginning January 25 until March 8. Classes will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office located on the corner of Route 88 N. and Hydesville Road in Newark. This is a great opportunity to get together, make friends and learn a skill that will become a lifetime hobby. Youth will learn the basics of crochet: chain stitch, single, double and half-double crochet as well as have the opportunity to participate in a larger service project for those in need. The six-week program costs $30 per child, which includes all materials. Parents are welcome to stay during classes. Workshop space is limited; please contact Stella Woodard, 4-H Youth Development Community Educator at 331.8415 to register. Copyright
