Girls may apply for Fair royalty

Applications for the 25th Annual Wayne County Fair Queen/Princess Pageant are available at Wayne County High School and Middle School offices, Wayne County 4-H Office, and by phoning Gerry Dekdebrun at 926.4926. All applications must be returned by March 1. Pre-pageant activities have been planned.

Wayne County girls ages 12-17 will receive an opportunity to enhance their public speaking and interpersonal skills. All applicants are required to attend the first meeting on Tuesday, March 2 at the Palmyra Fire Hall, Route 31, with a parent or guardian.

The pageant will be Friday, April 23 at Marion High School featuring a tribute to the 24 past Queens and Princesses. Nine winners will reign over the 2004 Wayne County Fair, set for August 9-14 in Palmyra.
