Looking for trading stamps

The members of Marion Memorial Unit 1430 are looking for the old Top Value and S&H Green stamps of yore. They can use them on their coupon committee program. They still have a monetary value to the American Legion Auxiliary.

The funds are used to help defray costs wherever they are needed in the many programs of the American Legion Auxiliary. One of the big programs the funds are used for is the Empire Girls Program. This is a week long session, where a Junior from the Marion High School is selected. She has an exciting opportunity to learn about our government and how it works. The week long session this year will be held at Brockport College June 25th to July 1St Selection of the Girls State representative is made by members of the Marion Unit during the month of March.

So, if you have any of those old Trading stamps lying around and just didn't know what to do with them cause you really didn't want to throw them away, you can drop them off at the Legion home on Witherden Rd. or call the Post home at 926.4323, and a member will gladly pick them up from you!

The members of the Marion Unit 1430 thanks anyone who might be of help to them on this program.
