Sodus Scholarships available

The generosity of Ruth G. Mills, long-time Sodus resident, enables the Sodus Central School Scholarship Fund, Inc. to offer scholarship awards for continuing education. These will be presented to qualified graduates who are currently freshmen, sophomores or juniors in college.

Students must:

1. be graduates of Sodus Central School
2. be enrolled in a 4-year-college as a full-time student
3. have a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average as of February 1

The amount of the award and the recipients will be determined by the Sodus Central School Scholarship Fund, Inc. Applications are available now in the Sodus High School Guidance Office.

The committee must receive the application and the documentation by April 15. Please send forms to the address on the application form. Eligibility for this award is for undergraduate students only. A student may be eligible for up to three annual awards within six years of graduation from Sodus High School.
