Teens invited to join tech club

Are you interested in technology? Do you spend endless hours in front of the computer? Have you ever played with electricity and wondered more about what it can do?

Does your room draw more electricity than the rest of the house combined?

Venture Crew 120 is calling all teenagers to have fun and play around with electronics and robotics.

They meet every third and fourth Wednesday of the month at Wayne Technical and Career Center in Williamson, except on holidays. The crew is run by the participants. You must be 14 or have completed the eighth grade. The maximum age is 20 years old.

Boys and girls may join. February 18, the club is joining the Drumlins Amateur Radio Club at their meeting.

Drumlins ARC meets at the Wayne County Emergency Management Office, Route 31 in Newark, because they are part of the emergency response team for the county. Come join us for a mini-tour of the facility, refreshments, and a discussion of how these two organizations may have mutually beneficial goals. For details or more information feel free to call.
