Homeschool class at the Museum A homeschool class will be held March 4 at 10:30 at the Old Jail Museum on 21 Butternut Street. Homeschooled children, ages 6-12, may register for this 90-minute program titled Women in the Civil War. The War Between the States was fought between brothers, cousins, friends and neighbors - and some of them were women. Homeschooled students will learn about some of the women who served as nurses, vivandieres, sutlers, as soldiers, and even spies. The cost is $3 per student for Wayne County Historical Society members, $4 per student for non-members. Pre-registration is necessary. Call the office, 946.4943, Monday to Friday.
