New businesses in Clyde
Alpine Bakery was opened at the former Restivo's Bakery building at 52 Columbia Street. Josef and Kimberly Collier of North Rose plan to develop a wholesale business to hotels and restaurants with retail at the front counter of the shop for orders and walk-ins. They offer cakes, fruit tarts, cookies, candies, Danish and more. Double-J's Pizzeria opened early January at 45 E. Genesee St. This is Rick and Holly Noody's second pizza parlor. There is a Double J's in Sodus. They offer daily lunch specials, pizzas of all kinds, subs, wings, calzones and more. Delivery is available for orders of $10 or more. Breakfast and lunch are available with fish fry on Fridays at the new Double-D's Chat-A-While at 24 Columbia St. Rick DeHoff, Jr. and Art Dunnill have opened the diner offering omelets, pancakes, French toast and more for the morning crowd and burgers, salads, sandwiches and subs for the lunch bunch. Watch for the Friday dinner fish fry. David Fischette, with help from his sister Christa and his mom, Deb, will be re-opening Trackside Deli. They will offer homemade soups and lunch specials Monday through Friday and fresh dough pizza every day. Pressure fried chicken will be a nice addition to the menu. Also they will have all occasion cakes and cookies available and catering services, too. Bambino's Pizzeria opened their recently refurbished establishment at 8 Ford St. on February 13. The Benning's will be offering pizzas of all kinds, wings, subs, calzones, fish and more. Delivery is available to a wide area surrounding the Clyde Village. Call 923.2888 for information.
