 Marion PTA meeting is January 15 at 3:45 in the Elementary Cafeteria.

Members and friends of the United Church will help the Wayne County Nursing Home celebrate birthdays by purchasing small gifts and serving refreshments at a party in their honor on Thursday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m.

A chicken and biscuit dinner is scheduled at the United Church for Monday, January 26.

St. Gregory Pasta Supper is scheduled for January 17, with seatings at 4:30 and 6. Indulge your appetite with pasta and homemade meat balls, salad, bread, relishes, topped off with their famous homemade desserts. Tickets are $6 and $3, under age four are free. Tickets at the parish office or call Rose at 926.5798 to make reservations.

January 2, 1936: In the hope of organizing a Recreation Club, there will be a meeting on Monday evening. Volleyball will be played from 7 to 8 p.m. and shuffle board and table tennis will follow.

Keep the date of February 14 open for a special dinner at the Downtown Cafe.

Shirley Murphy is out and about following recent surgery.

Doris Coisman is recuperating after her surgery.
