Red Cross sends thanks to businesses

Numerous businesses, banks, and offices sell Gund stuffed animals for the Wayne County Red Cross Chapter.

During Christmas Holiday the following sold Gund animals:

HSBC, Palmyra, Newark and Sodus; WCTA, Newark, Sodus and Macedon; Lyons National Bank, Wolcott, Lyons, Clyde, Newark and Ontario; Key Bank in Clyde and Williamson; Community Bank in Newark; Chase Bank in Macedon; Parker Hannifin in Lyons; NYSEG employees; Fred Hicks, DMD; Sharon's Snip Shoppe; Wayne County Nursing Home; Newark Central Schools, Melody's Shear Design; Dept. of Social Services; Breen's IGA; Excel) Staffing; Main Street Emporium, Newark; Hair Garage, Newark; Hair Dynamics; and Dr. Praino and Dr. Carey.

Stuffed animal sales take place year round and are also available in the Red Cross office, 165 E. Union Street, Newark. Proceeds from the sale of the animals is used to be certain that Red Cross is there for the residents of Wayne County in their time of need. Red Cross office, 331.3783.
