The weather has been great for doing yard work...not too great for the pools, however. The night breeze can be just plain cold. Hard to believe it's July already. Try to enjoy as much of the nice weather as you can.

Head to Sodus Point for The 4th of July events...tomorrow (July 3) is the Kiddie parade, teddy bear picnic and fireworks. On Sunday (July 4th) go to the Old Lighthouse Museum for Gap Mangione and his big band, 5K run, and art show.

Grilled Turkey Cheeseburgers

1 pound Butterball Fresh 99% Fat Free Ground Turkey Breast, or other brand
1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
4 slice fat-free hard cheese, such as 3/4 oz. American slices
4 medium mixed-grain hamburger roll(s)
8 pieces of lettuce
1 small tomato, sliced

Instructions

1. Preheat grill or stove-top grill pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, ketchup and mustard. Mix well and form 4 equal patties, about 1-inch thick each.
3. Grill burgers until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Top each burger with 1 slice of cheese; close grill or cover grill pan, and cook until cheese melts, about 1 minute.
4. Serve cheeseburgers on rolls with lettuce and tomato.

just a quick note to let you all know that I am alright. right now I am in the middle of a rehab job in a very busy place!!!! . well not much more to say other than it is hot over here, I think the temp was around one hundred and twenty in the shade!!!!!

Another fun thing to keep everyone occupied and work on those golf skills at the same time is Eagle Ridge Sports, 4794 Route 104. The next Alton Antique Center FLEA MARKET is July 11. The Center, 8497 Ridge Rd East, Alton, is always looking for Vendors & Bargain Hunters! Market opens at 8 a.m.
