Golf tourney raises $$ for trip to Inauguration

On Sunday, July 11 there will be a golf tournament to help raise funds for 7th and 8th grade students at the Newark Middle School to attend the Presidential Inauguration in January 2005.

The tournament will be held at the Erie Falcon Golf and Recreation Center (formerly Newark Country Club) with tee times between 10 and noon. Players can sign up to play 9 holes of golf with a cart for $30.

The students will receive half of the proceeds. Golfers can register as a single and be assigned to a foursome or put together your own foursome.

There will be no cash prizes but there will be a 50/50 drawing. For more information call Jim or Roberta Colacino at 331.5676.
