The annual Alloway picnic will be held Sunday, July 11 at the home of Amelia Engels, 377 Water Street, Alloway, starting at noon. Residents, past and present, and friends are cordially welcome. Bring a dish to pass and tableware. Games for children will be provided.

Addie Fischer is Alloway princess for 2004. She will ride in a wagon in the Peppermint Days parade, Saturday, July 10.

The Alloway award, made to two outstanding members of Lyons class of 2004 who reside outside the village, will be announced.

Historic Alloway is located two miles south of Lyons on Route 14.
