Puppets to Appear at the Lyons Library

This Friday, July 16 at 1 p.m., the Lyons Public Library will present the Tom Knight Puppets.

Tom Knight has been writing and performing for kids for 14 years. Based in Ithaca, Tom creates a dynamic performance suited to any kind of audience. It's a show that's fun for kids, but savvy enough to appeal to grown-ups, too. Using a portable stage and his own colorful hand puppets, Tom alternates between songs sung live with guitar, and puppet skits performed to recorded accompaniment, combining all the best elements of a concert with the action of a puppet show. The audience will sing along with the catchy and fun songs. Tom performed last year at the library and everyone had a great time.
