American Red Cross Instructors Course

The Wayne County Chapter is offering a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer instructors course. The course will be held August 26 from 6-9 p.m.; August 28 and September 11 from 8 to 4.

All sessions are at 165 East Union Street in Newark.

The objectives are to demonstrate the characteristics required of an American Red Cross representative. Candidates will learn to plan, organize, and conduct applicable program courses; monitor participants practice and provide corrective feedback. They will learn how to teach American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED Essentials.

Candidates must demonstrate CPR and AED skills at an appropriate level of performance and maintain complete and accurate records and reports. Candidates must be at least 17 years of age.
